Dr. Nguyen found a love for optometry after spending time shadowing an optometrist in her home state of Wisconsin. She was drawn to optometry because she is extremely passionate about helping people and found the eyes to be so fascinating. “Little organs, but packed with power!”, as she says. It makes her very happy to be able to improve a person’s quality of life so much with just the right prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses.
After graduating from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Dr. Nguyen moved to NC so she could continue to enjoy the warmer southern weather and the many opportunities our beautiful state offers. She enjoys working at C. Distinctive Eyewear because of the very friendly yet professional environment and the great crew she gets to work with. Dr. Nguyen also loves that, “On top of everything, C. also has the most stylish eyeglasses!”
When she’s not busy at C. looking at eyeballs, building lasting relationships with patients, and nurturing a comfortable environment in the exam room, she has lots to keep her occupied outside of work! Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with her husband, two dogs, a duck, a Guinea Hen, and a very impressive 250+ houseplant collection!
